Botox

Howdi

I feel like I should be begining a Confession - Forgive me for I have sinned, it has been two weeks since my last entry. In truth, i have been busy. Had a work assingment to do from home and far from working less you actually seem to work more. Still it was finished and emailed over today in time for me to chill for the weekend.

Last thursday, after much grief & ridical from my friends Richard & Mark I was talked into seeing a consultant at the Private Hospital that Richard works at in London Bridge.

After speaking for ten minutes in his office which would not have looked out of place in the offices of a partner from a Law Firm as huge Medical books on all aspects of the face & science were uncovered in depth.

Photographs were taken of my face from both the front and side Angles and then I was led through to the main procedure room. The glamourous assistant, Janey, assuring me that she would be with me throughout the procedure and that there was nothing to be concerned about. My questions answered I was asked to lie on the bed like the kind you see in a Doctors Surgury.

It was reclined and a huge light similar to that seen at a Dentist surgery was aluminated to light up the face and let the Doctor see in Detail.

A highligter pen marked the areas on my forhead where the needle would go and Janey prepared the cooling device that chilled my forehead prior to injection. This apparently reduces and any pain and swelling that could occur. Aside from a small prick I felt no discompfort and within ten minutes was completed and I was handed my Bill.

Strict instructions followed. Absolutly NO BENDING DOWN whatsover. This can cause the Botouism Toxolid to move to different areas of your face. As I bent down to pick up my Coat the Nurse shouted over - "Thats Bending". I was warned.

Richard collected me and gave me a tour of the rest of the Hospital.

The following Guidelines had been given to me;
* No Bending for 6 Hours
* No Heat or Exercision for 6 Hours (thats easy), he he
* Dont rub the forehead for 6 hours
* Dont expect to see any change for 4 to 6 days.

Richard and I went for coffee and try as you might you cant help but want to look in the mirror at every oportunity and see if there have been any changes.

I woke the following morning and if anything the lines were worse than ever but sure to their word as the days moved on they reduced more and more to the near smooth surface that now represents my forhead.

Did it Hurt? No. Was it worth it? Yes. Would I do it again? Deffinitely. For further details you can contact Chris himself on the above link. And for now I shall enjoy my youthfull looks once more and see how long it lasts.

One thing I can be sure of is that it costs no more than three monthly visits to Tony & Guys hair salon and I do my own hair. Ill keep you posted.

At the end of the day, money is only as good as the happiness it can bring. I had a fabulous weekend and felt great!

Lets see if I pull this weekend.
