The cities traffic is deffinitely getting worse. My journey used to take 45 minutes to get to GSK but this morning I left at 0845 and was still late for 11:00 start. Its madness that you can crawl as few as 7 miles in an hour even off peak.
Still on a plus side, GSK makes us very welcome and we are truly looked after. Last week with the hotel in Kensignton, dinner at a Conran Restaurant and a top London West End show.
I have to confess it was difficult to get up this morning. Dusan is on closing shifts for 2 nights and doesnt get home until around 0400 which usually wakes me slightly. Tomorrow thankfully I am doing the later start while Trish does the early. God bless her. She has been the life of the project and will be truly missed by I think, everyone on the team.
As we started on this project back in Spring I immediately knew that I would get on well with Trish. You can just tell that someone has the same mind set as yourself. Since then we have been bosum buddies (And I am not, for once talking about her fabulous rack).
Yesterday was a fun day at work. I am sad that she will be gone in just over a week.
Today it is officially Christmas. Its never Christmas for me until I have seen the Coca Cola "Holidays are Coming" commercial. It always reminds me of the Walt Disney World Electric Light Parade.
Anyway, bed is calling so sweet dreams for now
