House Warming

Now that we have a sofa to call our own the excuses were over, we were ready to host our first dinner party.

I had cooked my hot Burrito Beef mix and also made some Chicken Enchaladas and then dug out my dear friend Diva J's passed fathers Recipee for Salsa. Lee Noorda used to give all of his clients at christmas time a Quart of home made Salsa and some chips. I remember on some of my visits to Salt Lake I used to go with him deliverying the chips and salsa around the Utah Valley.

So the boys all came. The were early so I was in the middle of heating up my refried beans when the boys knocked on the door.

I didnt realise that Staurt was not keen on spicy food. Oops. Well it wasnt that spicy in my eye, but some people cant handle their spice.

Stuart had been asking us for months for an invite over and to celebrate he bought us through his British Airways Connection the very last bottle of Champagne from Concord. A vintage 1986 Pol Roger costing over £100. Mark and I sipped on it and could describe it as buttery as the smokers retired to the garden to puff away.

It was lovey to see the boys but it was an early night for us all as the big party is the Sailors Boys cruise.

More on that later. Happy Sailing.
