Dusan was off on Friday so we decided that we would both go and do a movie. Especially as Sex and the City was now showing in the theatres.
We booked our tickets and headed off to the Odeon on the Greenwich penninsular. Not surpisingly was the fact that out of packed cinema there were virtually only a hand full of men in the entire audience. Apparantly Sex and the City is only watched by Women and Gay men. What is with that? We think it is one of the funniest shows that has been on television of late. Surely we all can associate with the girls. Not just one of them but I think we all see a bit of us somewhere within one of the four girls. Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda or Samantha, they all have some good points that we can all relate closely with.
We loved the movie. It made you laugh, it was emotional and we left on a real high feeling really happy and in a great mood.
Saturday Dusan was on a night shift so I had to go and do some food shopping and then stopped at a friends on the way home to watch Dr Who. I was planning on going to XXL but there was a bit of a drama outside the flat around 1045PM. Suddenly a huge Bang was followed by an alarm. I, like my neighbours, opened the windows to look out on the square. Someone had smashed the windows of the Architects office opposite our building. The place was heaving with police in uniform, so not surprisingly every gay man in the building was looking out as he drama continued.
Thankfully, within an hour, they managed to turn off the alarms but by then it was so late a night in seemed more appealing. Especially as I spend so many nights away in the week with my job.
Dusan was on a late followed by a day trip today, but has just called to say that they are so quiet his been allowed home early. So I best get the place spic and span and ready for some food before we head out into the sunshine.
