Mayflower Lunch with Richard and Mark

Having not seen the leather queens in a while we arranged to meet Richard and Mark for lunch at the lovely Mayflower. We should have known it would have been bad weather after the last time we went and the Thames was coming through the deck. It was such a nasty grey and cold day (especially for July) that it was just nice to see two dear friends.

We were seasonally late as Dusan didnt get to bed till gone 6AM and needed to make sure he was ready for work before we went to lunch.

We had a nice lunch (The portions are huge) and then back to theirs for coffee. I had to drop Dusan off at the station later so he could get into town and buy a new pair of work trousers. Apparantly his old pair had a massive hole in. One can only imagine what his been up to. Once I had dropped him at Canada Water I went back to theirs for coffee and a look through their pictures from their recent trip to Scicily. Shortly after Dusan called from Oxford Street, sounding kind of stunned. He knew he needed to go and buy new trousers but had completely forgotten that it was a Saturday afternoon and Oxford Street compares with Gay Hell on any gay mans Saturday afternoon.

Moments later, Warren and Antonio arrived. We all went out into the garden and enjoyed a pear cider in what was left of the blue skies on the horizon. Hopefully summer will arrive eventually soon.
