Nottingham!

I've just spent the past six days in Nottingham with work. Its kind of a love hate relationship. On the one hand I hate being away from home for such a long time at a go, but on the other, its great that I get to travel and see another part of the world.

Cant say that I would really want to live in a city that small, but I did enjoy the visit. Work had me working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday and even threw in Sunday pay for no work now thats "Lucky Bitches". Paid for doing nothing. Yahooo.

Thursday we had to do a course from 1730 to 2000. Its not hard. We just facilitate and introduce ourselves. Then Evan, Surinder and I met up with my dear friend David Nelson and Dusan (Well I waited this long to be with him, I was hardly going to leave him at home was I?) We went to a place called Big Wok. A Chinese style help yourself service buffet. All you can eat. Now i'm not usually into all you can eat buffets but this was like the 5 Star version. We had Soup, Peking Duck, Starters, Mains, Chocolate Fountain and dessert. My goodness did we feel rough after all that. So a few pound heavier we headed home to bed.

Friday I worked all day. David kept Dusan busy during the day and they went to peruse the merchandise at John Lewis prior to us setting up our wedding list there. (More on that in a moment). Then we met up post work for a drink and dinner.

Saturday was the first day of presenting. I was lead trainer so had to entertain the masses. I.E. Train a group of 14 recruitment consulants in using their new Siebel Software. Normally this would be fine, but the software went down at 1005 and thus installed no enthusiam into their confidence in its capability.

Having said that , it went swimmingly. Considering it was my first real attempt I cant complain. It went really well and I now have Siebel under my belt which is future promotion! Yeah.

Saturday Dusan, David and I went to John Lewis to register the Gift List. We got a free cake and coffee each which made us all happy. They give you a PDA that scans the items you want. was actually loads of fun but took forever and when the store was closing at 1730 had to leave :-(

Sunday, Paid day off - Heaven

Monday and Tuesday - Floorwalking aka Floorstalking. The Nottingham Consultants were the friendliest yet. Boy I missed Trish & Theresa. But it wasnt a bad trip.

Finally home sweet home and safe and sound.

Oh some good news. Mikey has booked a trip to Amsterdam and will join me on my last weekend as a single man in the world. I get married 3 weeks tomorrow. My biggest dream of all time is finally coming true. Now that really does make me 100% Lucky Bitch.

Much love to you all and a huge thank you for following my Blog.

Big love

Neil xx

PS - A Huge Congratualtions to Neil Sexton, Jason Rosam & RJ Mathius for completing the London Walk for Life on Sunday. Proud of you boys! XXX
