Woke up at 545AM to have a text from Dusan telling me that he cant get home. Thanks to the snow all buses in the whole of London are suspended. This is supposed to be a major city but they close the entire network. The fact that thousands of people are stranded in the Capital.
Poor love just called and said that his at Waterloo and the entire station is closed. Hopefully the Jubilee line is running else I shall not be able to get to work either.
Meanwhile its still snowing and they say its the worst snow we have had in 6 years. So thats an excuse to not put enough grit down and keep the capital running. My guess is that today millions of people will miss work and not by choice with the entire network disabled.
Watching people leaving the flat with their feet deep into the snow, no sign of the DLR and no buses. Other than walk (Yeah right) I dont know how I will get in. Oh and there is no running water. Did it freeze? What is wrong with this country? Everything comes to a standstill? Where was the warnings to store water? Amazes me sometimes!
