Booted and Suited

Having always wanted a made to measure suit, there seemed no better time than the move into our Mayfair office to purchase one. Add to that the gift voucher Alex & Mikey gave me towards it for my birthday and it was a done deal.

Toby the Tailor came to my office in April and took my measurements and actually the suit was ready before our travels, it was just finding time for the second and most enjoyable part of the experience. The fitting.

Included in the price was the cost of Toby coming to your work place with all of the samples of the materials. Taking your measurements and then the production and delivery of your suit. I went with a rich Italian Blue Wool to go with my eyes. Two pairs of trousers, Waistcoat and Jacket. The back of Waistcoat is a rich Paisley Blue which matches the lining of my jacket and it all fits perfectly.

Ray, my colleague, asked immediately how long it will be before I am wearing something down it! How very dare they? It is perfect. The trousers hang in the exact posistion around my waist they are supposed to hang. I am very pleased with it.

Well if one works in Mayfair one should look Mayfair right? For further details on Toby's fanastic service visit http://www.hemingwaytailors.co.uk

The only problem I have now is I intend to loose weight. The good thing is you can always have inches taken out of the back of the trousers. So am I going to wear it today? No. Its far too hot for a 3 piece today and I have no formal meetings. I am sure it can wait another day. They do say once you have had bespoke you wont want to go back to off the rack!
