Docking at the earlier hour of 7:00AM, we didnt rise till a bit later, had buffet breakfast on Lido deck and made our way to midships and disembarked for a short walk into town.
You cant really say the town itself had much but the supermarket meant we were able to get some really good wines to enjoy at less than 2.50GBP each and cost around 15:00GBP back home.
We menandered around town and stopped in a streetside cafe to grab a jub of Sangria. (Well it would be rude not to). Dusan said he was amazed how much went in to it, Queantrea, Rosso, Tripple sec, Red wine to name but a few. No wonder by the time the hour were up we were light and fluffy.
We embarked around 1330, time for a deckside luncheon and then sat out and tanned reading my book, Pompei by Richard Harris. It somehow seemed appropriate to read about a destination in the form of a novel. The remainder of "The Gay Divorcee" will have to wait for the later part of the cruise.
Tomorrow is Barcellona a city we have both wanted to visit for ages. Meanwhile we have set sail for the Olympic city and are faced with dead calm seas. Blissfully restfull!
