Yesterday I had to do a course to super users at work with all of the new features and some avanced queries. Then stay back and do a CBT evening with everyone. This was, as is now traditional, followed up with a visit to the bar in what Gordon now refers to as PU Night. Work out what drinking session the PU Stands for.
I am exhausted however today. Even being back and ready for bed at 2200, I still want more rest. I was back in the hotel room by 10.00.
My colleauge Helen and I went out yesterday to view a hotel we could have potentially stayed at next week. A huge event at the NEC has meant Birmingham is nearly sold out. But after viewing the hotel down the road and the thought of sponge pillows and sheets and blankets scares me. What kind of a hotel doesnt have Duvets in 2007? We have already named the place the Flea Bite Hotel. Cest la vie. We will find a more suitable place soon enough. I hope!!!
