Away with Work

Once more my work has had me packed up and living out of a suitcase, much because of the awful commute that it is to simply get in and out of the city.

Tonight a few of us went to dinner, post work, to a bplace called Egham where we managed to find a little bistro for dinner. It was Helen's idea to go there but as Sinead and I arrived way before her, found a small wine bar where we could enjoy a quick apperitif (lucky bitches) before dinner.

The service was great and the snacks so yummy that we decided to possibly stay there and dine fully. When Helen finally arrived it was strange as not only was the place directly opposite the church she was married in, it turned out that the bistro was formerly a Butcher's shop that was owned by her uncle.

Dinner was devine then it was back in time to unwind in front of the apprentice. I dont know what it is that is so drawing to that television show but it really gets you pulled in. This week it was Raef's turn to be fired. Much the the dismay of the viewer.

I now unwind in bed, knowing I have to be up in a matter of hours. Roll on the long holiday weekend!
