Job Offers & Daily Grind

After 3 days of early mornings I am not sure if I am either;

i) Getting Old
ii) Just not cut out for anything that necessitates waking pre 7:00AM
iii) Im just a lazy git.

I was actually offered the possiblity to be put forward for two jobs last week by a couple of the Agents that represent me. One was a Database Trainer in London and the other running a training department at a Law Firm in the city. The Latter I turned down for the simple fact they wanted me to go onto PAYE and loose all the perks of being my own business. The real cruncher was when she said it was Morgate in the City. West End I could handle but taking a train a full 30 minutes into Liverpool Street, five days per week, Standing all the way. No Thanks.

The second one was from a Different Agent offering a Database Trainer. I have specialised in Databases for over 5 years and would have been perfect, but they didnt know where in London it was to be. Londons a big place and while Tottenham takes me 15 minutes, Richmond could be 2 hours. So I passed until more information was made available. Full time work, solid for 9 months? How would I cope?

So I have two more Mornings at 530 AM to deal with, and Saturday I am off to the Algarve for a week of Chilled Whites, Fruity Reds, Hot Boyz & to just rest.

Ok, I have just read back through what I have written, it must be I'm a lazy git eh? Cest la Vie. I've been called worse!

TTFN

Neil
