Pre Birthday Shenanigans April 13th – 14th 2006

Pre Birthday Shenanigans April 13th – 14th 2006

The Easter break finally came upon us and much like Christmas seems to sneak up on you from nowhere. One minute it is miles away and then the next it is here. The fact that Easter this year was also my birthday (April 15th), meant that we had both a four day holiday and my birthday to celebrate too.

I started the birthday weekend at Lee’s Penthouse in Limehouse. Dinner with good company over the skyline of London. I had to rush off early as had promised my friend Neil I would meet him at a club at close to Midnight. Left the boys in Limehouse at 1115 and drove to Vauxhall.

RUDE BOYZ –I have never seen a line outside a club like the line for Rude Boyz on Thursday evening. Rude Boyz being a Thursday Club was packed to the rafters with a Friday as a Holiday all of a sudden. Marek and I parked the car and did what any self respecting gay man would do. Casually walk to about 10 people from the front of the line just forward of the corner bend of the queue and jumped in. A few flirtatious words to the person already there usually does the trick. Thankfully we were inside the club with ten minutes. It was rammed. Full of Lads, Chavs and of course Scallys in the now famous Scally Alley.

Left there and decided it being my birthday weekend I was far from Tired and would go to Chariots for a Sauna & Steam and freshen up prior to going home. Stayed way to late and didn’t get home until almost 0900 which gave me only 2 hours to sleep. At Noon Richard, Mark & Stuart picked me up to take me to Lunch. We drove out to a small Pub Restaurant near Ongar called the Green Man in Toot Hill. A delicious Lunch was served despite the fact that all three of them did nothing but make comments about the outrageous state of my eyes during the meal.

The rest of Friday was spent Chilling. I had nearly forgotten that Jane had said she would pop by with my Birthday Present. With sun Shining and the eve of my Birthday we sat and laughed and cried while I downed over a bottle of Wine before a fairly early night in preparation of the big day that lay Ahead.
