I just have to accept the fact that I am not and never will be an early bird person. I can stay out as late as I like but could never get up early EVERY morning for work.
This week I am commencing a week of early starts, up at 545AM everyday to get on the M25 motorway pre the Crushing Rush. If I am on early I can be at work in under an hour, but after 7AM it can take 2 hours. Madness.
So last night, armed with Valium & a Nytol I thought I might be able to get to sleep preety easily and instead was still lying awake at gone 0200. Knowing that I have a long day today and an even longer week ahead I am feeling shattered already.
I guess I will be far more tired this eveing and able to get to bed far earlier. My body just isnt cut out for it. Do you ever wake up in the night to go to the bathroom and just cant, no matter what, fall back to sleep?
Today was one of those.
Oh well, I have made myself a huge mug of Coffee. Have Pro Plus in the Car and will take a can of Diet Coke for the Journey. Ill have to speak to Kenton and see if I cant stay over a couple of nights at his nearer the Office. He called last night to see if I wanted to go to DTPM. I wish! DTPM on a School night? I've not been able to do DTPP and come home, crash out and get up for work in about four years. Im the wrong side of 30 now and care about my work too much (Of course).
So it it with much malice that I missed DTPM. (DTPM stands for Delerious Tremmours Post Meredian) But rather than DTPM I have em this morning, DT's from lack of sleep! Grrrr. Roll on bed time.
