Well after much publicity and talk the day finally came. Who would have thought that there woudl come a time when we are offered out very own gay day out in the countries top theme parks. Okay, so it wasnt exactly 100 Percent gay, it wasnt even mostly gay, infact, more chav's and trailor park trash. But i'm a firm believer of making your own party. We arrived just after 11:00 and immediately ran into Yannick & Gary. I finally got my pitcure taken with Yannick. He was the only one i'd not got a pic of myself with. (Watch out Baylen, ive not had my pic with you yet. I've not even met Baylen. Does he exist? LOL.
We went straight on Collusus a Rollercoaster that Loops 10 Times. Yes ten loops. I wouldnt say it was very scary, it wasnt that high, but it was fun. Then from there we went on Stelth that goes from 0 to 65MPH in 3 Seconds flat and goes straight up in the air, twisting you over and dropping down the other side dropping upside down about 7 storeys. Was awesome. We rode it over 3 times in the end. We then hooked up with the Gaydar Gang, the Lovely Sam Vangeen, Gary H & Fifi Dior Darling. They were in the VIP area and so we headed off to do the rides while they did all of their promotional stuff. Coming back sporadically to hook up with them again, Gary Surprised us and got us into the Royal Enclosure. It was like Brighton all over again, Neil, Jason, Robin, Jamie, Big Ben, RJ, Mikey, everyone but Jaffa Joe :-( We missed you Joe, Next year matey, your coming if I have to pay for you myself.
We chilled out with the best company for a couple of hours and then used our Fast Passes to go on all of the rides without a queue. You just go to the Fast Pass line and your at the front of the Queue. Fabulooos as Chops would say.
Having done a few rides we hooked up with Lee, Joel & Matt and went on some more rides, with a final bomoozle around Stealth again. Wow. What a ride. Bumped into Simon, JD, Richie & Jon rushing between rides, finally seen everyone! Yeah.
Then it was back to the Dome for the Salvation Dance Tent. It wasnt heaving and we didnt even make it to Wild Fruit but a sign of a good day is when you can say "I've had enough, it was fabulous, shall we go?". So we really do make the party our own, in the best of company you could possibly want to share it with. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special day and hope to see you all at Alton Towers for the next one. Love you all. MWAH.
Pictures will follow guys, I have to erase some of the old ones as i'm out of space on my blog. They only give you 300MB. Sorry. If anyone wants copies of the old pictures just email me and i'll send you them on. x
