David Fitzgerald & Petes Civil Partnership

One cant be early to an occasion can one? How else does one make an entrance?
But it was with regret that were late arriving at David & Peters Civilpartnership. They had asked us to meet them at the Slug and Lettuce not far from the London Eye. But we were late in actually arriving thanks to the conections we had to make.

Finally we were there and outside the Slug and Lettuce we were doned with Floral Tributes placed upon our suits. It was such a shame that the sun was not out. August should be clear blue skies and wonderfully warm. No... Our Mother Nature thought not and it was quite cool, even cold, as we boarded the Pod. Wet and dreary it may be but as the Pod doors closed, we were up and away with the clouds and as they asked... is there any person present who has reason.... well there was not a face that was not teared up.

What a wonderfull way to say, I do. With the talking over they cracked open the champaigne and with views as far as the eye could see (Battersea as it was cloudy), noone batted an eye.

From there the official singing of wedding documents were undertaken and then we took the mini buses back to the reception at their flat. Its crazy, David lives exactly 100 meters from my old flat in Vauxhall. On the same street and all.

Wie eye bie eck, says me doing a Yorkshire accent. Talk about a lovely bunch of people. The In Laws were lovely and we were soon plied with alochol and to that extent Dusan at 11PM is in bed (Light weight / Lucky Bitch) but it was lovely reception.

God bless you both and may you have a long and happy future together, forever.
