You know what its like before you start a new job or before you have a big interview or presentation. The night before, no matter how hard you try or even how much you drink, you cant seem to get to sleep for money or love.
Having spent a few hours on Sunday at Soho Pride I thought post a few Ciders and all that walking around and a few drinks would have set me up for a good nights sleep. Alas not. I was in bed around 1230 but was still awake when Dusan came home from work at 2:00AM. I was still in awake when he climbed in at 3:30AM and although I dozed off eventually my brain was so active all night it felt as though I was awake the whole night long.
I had to be at the City Office, not my usual one, at 750AM and not sure how long the journey would take to get there I left at 6:40AM. Induction and have all the paper work filed and then I was issued my security pass and made my way west to the office near Bond Street.
I was introduced to the team and given my first tasks. Proof reading online CBT courses. Im gradually learning more applications and will soon be given my first course to write the material for.
The team are fun, casual and so far I am loving it.
