About two weeks ago I felt as though my shoulder was keeping me awake if I lay on it, so have been sleeping on my other side.
Last night I had my appointment with my Trainer at the gym, Harry. I explained I was in pain in my right shoulder and he did a few tests. I have a sprained Shoulder. Apparantly its quite a common thing to strain.
I was advised to buy a warming Gel pack to put on it and help the healing process in the evening and in the mean time, I am to do only excercise that doesnt involve using my arms. Ironically its the smallest of movements that hurt it. Using a Mouse at the office is quite painful due to the fact your arm is outstetched. I guess I will have to make do with some Cardio for a couple of weeks while my shoulder fixes itself.
Harry said he could see I had lost weight since starting which was great. I have lost 5% of my BMI. Now that work is a in the same place and a have a bit of a routine I can get to the gym every day. Keep it up and by this time next year, hopefully I will be back in shape again!
