With the new residents bar being open some three weeks now, they kindly offered to host a Summer Residents Party with specials on jugs of cocktails.
I had arranged with a few of the Gaybours to meet them at Red later in the evening and had time beforehand to nip and buy some groceries. While at Sainsburys I decided to treat myself to a bottle of Bombay Saphire. Dusan was at work and so I invited my lovely neighbour Steve over for a chat and a cocktail. We only had 2 each but I realised afterwards that I was probably making them 50/50. Oh well, they tasted good with a twist of Lime. :-)
Dusan then called with the surprise news that work had an extra member of staff and so he was able to take the evening off and come to the party.
By 8:00PM my phone was going mad. Matt from the Idaho building said a Party was not the same without me. Bless. I think they all hoped I would come in drag.
We had a fun night and thanks to Red for supporting us all.
I've said it before and I will say it again, we love living here.
