Like thousands of others, not that it makes it feel much better, we were conned this week. After months ago we had looked online to purchase tickets for the opening Leg of Madonna's World Tour having had a receipt in my mail I felt confident that I would have tickets for the show this weekend. Our plans were (Lucky Bitches) to go to Cardiff and meet Alex and Mikey for the weekend and on Saturday night hit the Millenium Stadium for Madonna.
Sadly, SOS Ticketmaster whom we, like thousands of others, had bought tickets off, failed to se6nd the tickets. The first we knew something was askew was when reading the Morning Paper on Thursday and hearing about 1000's of people that had not recieved their tickets for last weekends V Festival.
This morning we woke and watched the news to hear the headlines about how thousands of fans had not recieved their tickets. Ours too.
I even have an Email fromn them last week, asking, where are my tickets, stating, "Usually we send out tickets six weeks before but for this event we are sending the tickets out by registered post the week before the concert.
Everyday I was watching the mail. We feel gutted. In good faith we paid out over £600 for Four tickets to the concert. Alas the tickets were not to come and we have heard nothing from SOS Masterticket. Thankfully they were booked on my Gold Card and are covered from fraudulant use. But it doesnt make up for the fact that we are not going to see Madonna! I suddenly feel like unlucky bitches. But then you know, I wont let it ruin the weekend. We will try tomorrrow, to get some tickets but failing that, we will go to Cardiff, meet up with Alex and Mikey and Chops and just have a darn good time. Why? Because we can. The world doesnt end with Madonna. Happy Bank Holiday Weekend!
