Disney Reunion with Christine

I didnt think after spending all day yesterday on our feet I didnt think I would have much energy for the gym today. But by mid afternoon it was so hot and sticky again I decided that the gym was nice and cool in comparison and so headed off for a nice Sunday afternoon workout. The place was quite desserted as I think half of London is still in Brighton for the closing party, this evening, at Wild Fruit. I am sure, one day, we will make it down for a long weekend and go to Wild Fruit on the Sunday evening.

Came home from the Gym in time to cook dinner and put on a load of laundry and get ready for tomorrows guest arrival. Christine, my oldest friend from Disney is coming to stay for a few days. Christine and I arrived at Disney World in 1995 on the same date and did our Traditions and arrival classes and all of the Cultural Awareness classes together. There is something special about the people you arrive at Disney with. You share a unique bond. Something that makes you realise how lucky we were to be selected of all the people in the world to represent our country at Walt Disney World.

During our time in Florida Christine and I made an effort to try and meet up at least once a week for dinner. Usually at TGI Fridays at Lake Buena Vista where we would chat about our weeks working in our countries pavillions. Tomorrow she arrives and it will be the first time we have seen each other since 2003.


This picture was one of our Monday nights at TGI Fridays. The waitress took the picture for us and as Christine bent forward her boobs fell into our Fajitas and were covered in Salsa, Guacamole and Sour Cream. How we laughed. Bon Voyage Christine. Looking forward to catching up with you again.
