Tomorrow is my Nan's 88th Birthday. She lives in the same village as my parents and it must have been since April that I last saw her. Work and life seems to get in the way too much and I simply dont have as much time as I would like to pop in and see them all.
But with it being Nan's birthday I asked her if she was free today and both Dusan and I are visiting to take her to lunch. When I called her yesterday to confirm she kept saying, "Are you sure?", "Its such a long way for you to come". Of course we have to go. She is my Grandmother. I couldnt think of what to buy her or what she would like other than to see Dusan and I.
So we are driving back and will take her somewhere to eat for the afternoon as our Birthday Treat.
Dusan didnt get home until 3AM this morning so am letting him get a little bit of a lie in before I wake him with a coffee. Happy Birthday Nan.
